“I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.”

Today we celebrate a triple holiday: The birth of Thomas Edison, how dark the world would be without him!; Don’t cry over spilt milk Day; and, National Inventor’s day.  Actually all 3 of these days blend effortlessly when you think about it.

Thomas Edison was a great inventor, who should inspire us all, individually and as a nation, to be a little more dogged in our creative “inventive” pursuits, and to reach any original goal, you’re going to hit a lot of road blocks, so, dry your eye’s, it’s only spilt milk!

For those of you that don’t know, Thomas Edison attended public school for only three months, after which he was taught at home by his mother and a tutor.  One of our favorite and most appropriate Edison quotes for today:

I have not failed.  I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.”
