In honor of all things Comic Con . . . we give you Bruce Campbell, on his birthday no less!

Yes, it’s that time of the year . . . Comic Con is coming to San Diego (July 21st). And we usually start thinking about going to Comic Con a month ahead, because Bruce Campbell’s birthday gets us thinking about all things Comic Con.

For those of you that don’t know, actor/author/ bon vivant Bruce Campbell is a Comic Con veteran, although this year, disappointingly Burn Notice is sitting out Comic Con.  However, might Mr Campbell show up, sans show? Who can say?

If you’ve never seen Bruce Campbell’s Old Spice Commercial, it’s a must. Not only is Bruce great, check out the art by Wayne White (see the endless ship in the background). It’s amazing.

For tips on making the most of Comic Con, check out Tony B Kim’s brilliant (and FP’d) post 10 Ways to Ruin Comic Con.

Can’t get to Comic Con SD?  Get your fix reading Bruce Campbell’s book If Chins Could Kill, or Make Love *the bruce campbell way.  Both are hilarious romps, available in HB or PB, with the Make Love also available as a Kindle.  No audiobooks currently exist. (Ebook versions seem to exist, but  none of them seem to be legal. Please do not download them.)

And if you’re interested in the work of Wayne White, check out his book Wayne White: Maybe Now I’ll Get the Respect I So Richly Deserve
