And now that you’re up on QR Codes, have you been so vain as to tweak your barcode?


In case you missed it, the Wall Street Journal’s Sarah Nassauer posted a great article on vanity barcodes: Art in Aisle 5: Barcodes Enter Expressionist Period.  You can see examples of a wide variety of vanity barcodes in the article, or just pop over to Vanity Barcodes to see their amazing collection of work.

Although it seems as though you need to pay someone to make your barcode into something special,  anyone with an Adobe suite is probably capable of tweaking a barcode.  That said, it will likely become a typical part of all branding shortly.
