It’s that most wonderful time of the year

By this we mean the Old Farmer’s Almanac is finally out. We live for the OFA at FAB.  It’s great break and bathroom reading. The hole in the corner makes it perfect for hanging on a nail. (Too, traditionally, it softish pages make for great extra TP in a pinch).

There is, confusingly, a Farmer’s Almanac as well. But since no one will pay for both (Yankee to the core here), we only ever get the OFA.  It’s sure to make you the clever clogs of the county, and have you out foxing even the most cunning of critters.

The OFA is pretty easy to find — on the stands of a hardware store. But who doesn’t stock up at the hardware store just before Thanksgiving so they can get to all those last winter chores during the holiday weekend when there’s plenty of free help visiting?

Look for it by name. Accept no substitutes. And happy holiday reading! (You can also follow their Tweets!)
