Private Wojtek: Soldier Bear — the historical novel

Back in October we mentioned Wojtek, the bear soldier.  We mentioned a couple of great books about him but a friend of the blog posted a comment letting us know there’s a new bear in town . . . historical novel version of the story. And we thought, Pearl Harbor Day . . .  why not share a WWII story?

This one features many stories from ab old army buddy of Wojtek, so definitely worth having.  This recent historical novel  called `Private Wojtek Soldier Bear’ is by Krystyna Mikula- Deegan whose uncle served with Wojtek’s own Artillery Company during WW2. The story is written from this soldier’s point of view.
