It never hurts to slip a little murder into someone’s stocking

Giving Agatha Christie is a tradition in Britian.  One suppose the vicarious reading of a murder allows one to refrain from murdering one’s near and dear over the roast goose, but that aside . . . .

So many people say they’ve seen Agatha Christie works (dramatize versions) but so few these days know the pleasure of her pithy plotting, her barbed wit, her ingenious invention!

Many of her books can be found (unabridged) at reasonable prices, in a variety of formats, by various narrators including the wonderful David Suchet (our most memorable Poirot to date!).

So if you’re thinking of something different for Christmas, put your cards on the table fall back on an old favorite that you’ve probably never actually read!

(Or, if the eyes are little tired, get out and Steven Spielberg’s new flick about our other favorite intrepid, investigative Belgain, TinTin!)
